Due to a change in the official date of release of the Jaden Yuki 3 and Jesse Anderson Duelist Packs, and in order to ensure fairness across the board at this weekend's events, the tournament legality dates for these products have been changed. Both were originally going to be legal this Saturday, January 26, 2008. However, the official date of release has been moved back to next week. Therefore, the new legality date for both local and premier events for these products is now January 29, 2008. Cards from either of these two sets may not be used at this weekend's Regional Qualifiers or the Shonen Jump Championship (neither the main event nor side events), or at local events.
Ideally, this should not affect anyone since the release date has changed (so players shouldn't be able to purchase these cards until then, anyway). However, on the off-chance that anyone gets these cards early from retailers who did not abide by our release date, we do not want to penalize the players from those stores that are adhering to our official release date.
Additionally, the JUMP-EN023 promo card "Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord" has been added to the Appendix A as legal for both local and premier events on February 1.
